No finer fellow has left footprints on this sweet green earth than Ed.
He and my dad were my biggest role models.
It was my privilege and joy to have shared so many travels and adventures
with you, Raven, and everyone we hung
out with. I will treasure our times together and all the precious memories.
love,and peace, Carlos
A beautiful being - whose love of life, courage and willingness to stand up to injustice inspired us all. You are loved Dear Ed.
Raven, Ed, your light will never dim. I loved being around you, am still inspired by your devotion and determination to live a good life and fight for justice and peace. Ed, you were a funny guy, too. You saw the light side of being. The legacy of your work is an enduring tribute to your greatness of spirit. Goodspeed, Ed.
Alright, Col., you did good. Everything after your B29 went down was borrowed time, anyway. You put it to very good use, standing up for whats right, and sharing life with a great gal. Salute, old fellow!
Thank you for giving that ride from Victoria Falls Zambia to Nairobi Kenya via Malawi way back around 1973. You were both beautiful human beings who will be forever in my thoughts.

I see the included image of Ed as I remember him from a time so long ago now. How nice!
So pleased and privileged am I to have shared a teeny-weeny bit of my life with him. A wonderful man who made such a positive mark on this earth.
To Raven, Ed's true soul mate, I wish a warm: "Long Life" (in our tradition). For her Ed's inevitable passing will be an enduring wrench.
I was so sorry to hear about Ed. I was always glad to see him at the gym when I was in town. He was like a touchstone, and I'll miss seeing him like I know everyone there will miss seeing him.
I will truely miss Ed at the Shelburne Supermarket. He was one of my very favorite customers. I was drawn to him because of his "peace" hat and now that I read his life story I wish I could have known him on a more personal level. Wow what a wonderful life. You are very lucky to have shared life with him.

Dear Raven, I was saddened to read of Ed's death. What a man! He was one of my
all time favorite patients - it was a
privilege to know him. If only we could
clone a billion or more like him!
Sincerely, Walter Gundel (Ed's heart doc)
Pops, I love you and miss you. I'm so glad we were able to spend time together. I will always remember that. I hope you met Audrey, and she was able to guide you on your journey.
So very sorry to learn of Ed's passing. I worked with him for many years at Ch. 15. He was a great champion of free speech and human rights and he was a good friend to me. He was one of those rare people who wanted the world to be a better place and was willing to work hard to make it so. He will be missed.
