I was one of Dr. Chizinsky's students at Briarcliff. He profoundly affected my life by giving me an interest in biology - which I had managed to avoid and swore I would never take again after a horrible class in high school. He opened my eyes to how amazing biology is and gave me a book by his grad school friend Eugenie Clark. It was that book that made me decide to be a marine biologist - which I have been since 1974. I love my life and if it weren't for him I would never have gone down this path. I have often tried to find out where he was. At least I found this on Facebook - Briarcliff. My best wishes to you his family. He was a wonderful man and he will be missed. He certainly blessed my life.
