I hear Don passed away through my father - Mr. Phil Evans, who used to work together as Landmen many years ago. Please accept our deepest sympathies from my mom, Kathy and myself, PJ. I recall Mr. Frey as a man of who loved his wife and children very much. His doors were always open to all of us kids. I am saddened upon hearing he passed and pray that his family can find comfort in knowing he lived a very fruitful life. One of my fondest memories of Mr. Frey (never called him Don, not once) was back when I was around 8 yrs old. We were huddled down in the dark down in the family basement watching hockey films on an old 33 mm projector. We ate, drank and laughed but Coach Frey was serious trying to instill us the fundamentals of hockey. Always a coach, always a gentleman - a man I loved. May you rest in peace Don.
