Sadly I only recently learned of Georges passing. I worked with him for 11 years and don't think I ever saw him in a bad mood. Always a smile on his face and yes a very positive attitude. Condolences.
It is with great sorrow that we now say farewell to our dearest friend George. We have shared much, laughed often and truly enjoyed our long friendship. A well lived life is an inspiration and George was certianly that. May the love of family and the strength of faith see Karen, Ken and the boys through the difficult days ahead. George will be missed. Russ & Bonnie Butler

My wife and I have known your dad for over 40 years thru the sporting goods store and we also used to run into George and Frenchy on Pocaterra Damn ice fishing in the winter. We always made a point of going and talking to him whenever we were in Wholesale sports. We always had a good laugh and enjoyed each others company.
He will miss him greatly.

I was shocked and saddened today to hear of the passing of my father three days ago from a neighbour who was a friend of George.
My wife Shane and my son Brendan (George's grandson) pass our condolences to Karen and her family.
My Dad and I didn't see each other often enough but I was I was lucky enough to introduce him to my wife a little while back. Shane had just returned from her second business trip to China, so Dad and her had some interesting insights and stories to share of the people and the country.
I'm glad he was able to work in an industry he loved for so long. He was a people person who will be missed by a lot of people.
Rest in peace Dad!
One of the nicest people I had the pleasure of working with at Wholesale.
