Dear Art, Trina and Hanny,

We are so shocked to hear of this tragic news. Please accept our deepest sympathies. We remember Jake and Brandon always goofing around with one another at martial arts. What we remember mostly about Jake though is that smile. We don't ever remember seeing him without it. We will never forget you Jake. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
June-23-12
Trina, Art, Hanny, extended family, and friends, please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of a beautiful, fine young man. Losing someone is never easy, but losing someone so young, and so full of life defies logic. My son, Martin, knew Jake from Air Cadets 604 Moose Squadron. My daughter, Emily, knew Jake from Branton School. Although she's in grade 7 and he was in grade 9, she said she knew him because he was "the guy who always wore camo!" She wanted you to know that his kindness was felt throughout the school. She remembers how he was always ready to help someone in need. Today is a vey difficult day for everyone as we all say goodbye, but do know our thoughts and prayers are with you. God speed Jake.

It's with a heavy heart we write this...our prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time, and in the weeks and years ahead.
Many an HP game, trampoline jumps, toy store visits with younger siblings in tow, and more recently...a handsome young man who was making great choices and enjoying life. We are grateful to have known Jake, and that he was truly a part of our life. We are here for you, as always.
June-22-12
I did not have the honour of meeting Jake, but saw his memorial on the bridge and was moved and saw his Facebook page and was moved even more to see the incredible positive impact he had on so many people at such a young age. While he has left the earthly plane, he is not gone, he is now an honoured guest in heaven and will forever be at peace. My deepest sympathies to his wonderful family and many friends. Remember, though Jake is not here he IS still beside you, and will be there for you in times of need, or if you need a smile.
June-22-12

Our deepest sympathies to your family at this very difficult time. We did not know Jake, but our son was his classmate and often spoke of the "boy with all the paper airplanes in his locker". We are so sorry for your loss.

I knew Jake from the development team of the mod "Global Front" for Battlefield 1942. While I don't speak for the entire team, I am certain that they, like myself, will remember Jake very well from his time working with us. My thoughts are with you in this very difficult time.

I never had the privilege to speak to Jake in person, but I have known him for the past 3 years and I feel like he was a close friend. I really wish I could've spoken to him more. Rest in Peace, Jake!
June-21-12
Dear Art, Trina and Hanny,
We will always fondly remember Jake eagerly searching for Easter eggs in the backyard at Rick and Bonnie's house - behind the trees, under the junipers, around the trampoline. It was such a joy to watch his excitement and zeal as he collected his stash. And, at the urging of his kind mother, he even shared with younger Malcolm. We are holding you close in our thoughts and prayers.
June-21-12
Dearest friends Art and Trina ,Hanny we are very saddened to learn about jake .Our prayers are with you throughout this difficult time.

Dear Trina, Art, and Hanny;
We were very saddened to learn about Jake's passing. Even though it has been some time since we've seen Jake, we will always remember him as a busy boy, full of great ideas and lots of spunk. Tyler remembers his old friend fondly, and the great times they had together as young boys.
No bond is as great as that between a parent and child.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you throughout this difficult time.

Morgan, Howard and Tyler Tarves.

I am a student from Jakes school. He was an amazing kid, he was always making kids smile and knew how to have a good time. He was more than just a friend to everyone at my school, and when we got informed of his passing everything just stopped. It's still hard to believe a great person like that had to go soo young. We love you jake, Our hearts are with you and your Family. Lots of love Even though some days are hard to get through, the thought of knowing I have jake by my side makes the hard times go alot better. I'll see you soon jake.
June-20-12

Love from the Watmore family.
