Very sorry to hear that Lucky is gone. A great guy and a great athlete .
I am very sorry to here of the passing of Lucky, He was my very first swim coach in Ralston, and under his coaching I did very well through out Alberta at swim meets, and when you did not do your best he found the positives to give you good feed back will always remember him fondly.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Lucky. He was well liked at Ralston School, and I have many fond memories of those days as do many that have spoken of him on FB. May your memories give you comfort.
My deepest condolences to the whole MacKay family. His immediate family were very good friends with my self and my mom and dad. Lucky was a great fighter when it came to beating health issues which I know were numerous. He will always be remembered for the strength and courage he showed. I remember Lucky as being one of the best lifeguards at the Ralston pool. Those are good memories to hold on to. With all my love and prayers to the whole family. Barb Kramer

Sandy, Ian and family, We are a Crowchild hockey family and Ian and Parker have been on the same team at least once in the past 11 years. We always admired how dedicated Lucky was to Ian's hockey. I am sure he never missed a practise or game and he was always familiar friendly face at the arena especially at evaluations where we would run into him and he always had time to talk. We can't imagine the loss you must feel and only hope the beautiful memories of him will carry your through the difficult hours and days ahead. Lucky certainly left an impression on everyone he met and we will think of him often when we enter and/or pass the arena. What a great guy he was! The Beck family
