Dear Sylvia, we are so sorry to hear about your loss. Your mom was such a kind and loving person and a friend to all that she met. We will treasure her memory in our hearts for the rest of lives.
Today was a very sad day for me and my family upon hearing of Meredith's passing. Meredith was our daughter's first teacher at Heritage Christian Academy. She was a caring and gentle lady and a wonderful teacher. She made a tremendous difference in our daughther's life. Our sincere sympathy to her daughter and family.
I received a warm, enthusiastic hug from Meredith at a meeting of the Learning Support Teachers this September. This was typical of her character and I am so thankful to have this memory. She will be greatly missed and warmly remembered. May you know the unending comfort of the Father of Lights who sees every heart and captures every tear. Meredith rests safely in those loving arms.
Hello folks, I'm not giving out my name for I am eager to see if someone can deduce who I am but I will say I was once a student at HCA from grades 1 to 6 from 1999 to 2005. Meredith or Mrs. Schultz as I knew her was a great teacher. It was in her class that I met one of my first and best friends ever who is African-Canadian She taught me all of my basic education skills and without them, I would still be very naive about the world. I owe much of my modern day knowledge and personality to Mrs. Schultz. The last time I saw her was in 2006 and it was a great reunion, but I had no idea it would be my last. Mrs. Schultz, you, Ms. Nelson, and Mrs. Pickett were awesome teachers and I will miss you a lot RIP Meredith Schultz =(
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. We have been praying that God will grant you strength and peace during this difficult time.
How to share such sadness at the passing away of a dear friend is impossible. Memories of Meredith are with us forever. I can still hear the ring of her laughter and feel the tight hugs we shared. The last time we met was a beautiful surprise for both of us as Meredith's school hosted our son's provincial basketball tournament. There was Meredith greeting us at the door with her whole countenance lit up.
Thank you to her brother Gordon for including us in his life which lead to meeting his dear sister. "One day we will see you again Meredith!"
Our hearts go out to her only daughter, Sylvia, and her siblings, as they adjust to this terrible loss. Life without her will not be the same.

Sylvia, we were saddened to hear from Nicole regarding the tragic loss of your Mother. Please know that you are in our prayers as you deal with this painful time in your life.
I worked with Meredith for 3 years. She was always looking for ways to make learning fun! And we did have fun! She was a good friend and I can't begin to express how much I learned from her. She was an amazing woman and I am very privileged to have known her and to have her call me 'friend'.
I am sorry for your loss! Meredith was a beautiful lady with a great sense of humor. She loved people and always had a kind word. I pray that God will comfort you.
Meredith was a caring person who always spoke kindly and affectionately about her students and colleagues. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, and to her friends and colleagues at Heritage Christian Academy.
I met Meredith for the first time about 12 years ago when we came to HCA. She was my son's teacher. Later we became colleagues and soon became friends. We often ate lunch together and she very much enjoyed coming over to relax by the fire pit and share in good conversation and laughter. I will miss her wonderful laugh. My sincere condolences to Meredith's family.
miss schultz was a great teacher and will forever hold a place in my heart because of all the great things she did and all the kids she taught. you will be missed
Sylvia- May God give you all you need at this time. May he carry you through as only He can do.
Your mother was an amazing woman who inspired many. She taught me so much and as you can see has left an amazing legacy. She was taken so soon. She will be missed! My heart and prayers go out to the entire family.
Meredith is dearly missed at school not only for being a great teacher but also for the wonderful support she gave to all staff and students. She cared so deeply for the students and gave so much of her personal time to make sure they were given all the support possible. I began teaching with her 5 years ago and learned so much from her. My classroom is next door to her office and we worked so closely together to run the Friends of Rachel club to prevent bullying in our school. This was a passion for her. Her death has been hard to take but I take comfort in knowing she is in Heaven. Her love for Jesus was overflowing!
I was a substitute teacher at Heritage and what impressesd me most was Meredith's calm attitude and ever present smile
Ms. Schultz was bar far my best teacher. She always told me she loved my blue blue eyes. Sorry for your loss
Sylvia, I was so shocked to hear of your mothers sudden passing. She was a kind wonderful woman. Please accept my condolences and sympathies during this difficult time.
My son was her student last year and all I can say is she was a wonderful and very direct person. She did her job with utmost dedication. The news of her lost yesterday came as a shock to me and everyone at HCA. I had last seen her on Monday afternoon. Her office door is covered with letters from the elementary children saying they will miss her. I feel very much for her family at this time, and that she was very much a needed teacher at HCA.
Please do not take for granted those you love because life, as we know it, can be snuffed out in a matter of seconds.
Meredith was a beautiful person to everyone she met-children, family, friends, parents and colleagues. My heart and prayers go out to her family and friends.
With deepest sympathy,
Meredith was my daughter's teacher for several years, she was so kind and compasionate. She made parent teacher interviews actually fun. This loss is not only one the family will feel but also a loss for struggling students. Meredith's laugh was the cutest!
