Thanks for all the kind wishes. It's nice to hear how my mother was a good friend and an inspiration. I can assure you all that she was also a great mother. When we were young, Mom's day revolved around my brother Dean and me. As we moved around she was the rock that kept us anchored. She was our moral guide as we grew up. When we were hurt or sad, she felt the pain, possibly even greater than we did. She took great pride in seeing us grow and start a life of our own. Dean's death was a tragic blow that hit her hard, but she was slowly able to put that behind her and take pleasure in travel, golf and the love of my father in her last years. Perhaps what gave me the most pleasure was seeing mom become a wonderful mother-in-law and grandmother. My mother's love for Mona grew over the years until she became truly like a daughter. My mom has been a guide, a giver and a spoiler to Sarah, Zac and Kayla.

You were a great mom, mother-in-law and grandmother. We all miss you. We will keep you close in our hearts until we meet again.

Wes, no words can express the impact of Rhoda's passing. I was so fortunate to become a part of her "golf group" 2 years ago. Prior to that I had known her only by name as one of the good golfers I aspired to be. Golfing with her gave me the opportunity to enjoy her sense of humor and her willingness to share her experiences and knowledge. As I wander around the golf course, I can hear her reactions and comments which brings back such fond memories to me. I will always treasure her friendship......Rae Jordan
