Dear Mrs. Russell and family;
Having returned to Calgary this last weekend, I was saddened to learn of Al's passing. May I extend my sincere sympathy to all of you at this time.

Dear Donna, Allan and Lisa,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and our deepest sympathy on the passing of Al. He was a great principal to Alex and myself, but most of all a wonderful and caring friend. We were so lucky to keep in touch over all these years, sharing our lives over good food and drink. Al was always so gracious and really let you know how much he cared. Al, you were a very important part of our lives and you will be missed at our get togethers, but you will be in our thoughts always.
