I only recently heard of Allan's passing! Please accept our condolences. I started at Canada Customs in Calgary back in Oct. 1959 and knew him well. We curled in the winter at the Big Four Building and we drank a few beers at the downtown Legion. When I moved from Calgary I more or less lost track of "Hammie" but whenever I met up with someone from home I would ask about him as he was a good friend. R.I.P. Ronald and Eileen Watt Kingsville, Ontario.

I got to know Allan when we worked together at Customs and like so many others, remember him fondly for his wonderful and infectious laugh. He would be in tears laughing so hard over some joke and that always brightened everyones day. I am happy that Allan had a good retirement and send my deepest sympathy for his loss to his family.
