My sincere condolences on your loss of Joachim. I just heard the sad news a week ago when I visited with Staff and clients at Options. I consider myself blessed to have known him when I worked at Options. I have very nice memories of his humour and I know he was always looking to help others. He touched my heart in the short time that I knew him. All the best to you and the rest of your family as you heal from this deep loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Joachim's passing. He was a great friend to me growing up in Ottawa and I have many fond memories of him. He was such a great guy and will be missed by all. My sincere condolences.

My Uncle Joachim was an amazing, kind, loving, fun, always happy person who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Although he is gone to a better place, he will live forever in our hearts.

Dear Gerta, Kristina, Karin, Dagmar I am so sorry on your loss of sweet Joachim. We always had fun bowling, with the car club, swimming, and kayaking. I enjoyed our visits when you moved to Calgary and was so happy to hear when he got this awesome job there. Joachim will leave a big hole in many hearts as he touched many lives.

Gil and I are saddened to hear of Joe's passing. We met him in the Rockyview Hospital where he was Gil's roommate for a period of time prior to transferring to the hospice. We
came to know Joe as a gentle soul who seemed to accept life on life's terms. He truly appreciated even the simplest acts of kindness. We were fortunate to have met Joe. He made a great impact in a short period of time. Please accept our condolences and know that we will remember our friend, Joachim. (We practiced for days so that we could pronounce his name correctly!) May he find that heaven is filled with all the cars he could ever hope to drive. Pedal to the metal- you go, Joe! We will never forget you.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of dear Joe. He will be missed by many friends and co-workers. He was a delight to have known and his passing leaves an emptiness in my heart.

My dear brother. You were more than a brother to me you were my friend and my teacher. You taught me the joy and simplicity in life and the strength of the human spirit. You always participated 150% in life and touched everyone you met. I will miss you, but I know you will always be with me. Love you, miss you..

Days of sadness come over to us. Memory is bringing you back to happy days here in Calgary shared with you and your Mom. Thank you Achime for beautiful memories you left behind.

I will always remember Joe as one of the hardest workers in the swimming pool. He never complained about anything and treated everyone he was around with dignity and respect. He was a true team mate and was the best leader of team Calgary as we marched into the 2013 summer games opening ceremonies in Red Deer. I'm proud of you Joe, and I miss you lots!!
