I knew Paul as my handsome teen-age cousin when I was a little girl.
I'm sending Donna a letter via the funeral home.

Paul was a remarkable, inspiring mentor when I first began learning about dolphin and dugong research in Shark Bay -and he has remained a dear, inspiring person in my life and thoughts. He and his wonderful partner Donna could not have been warmer, more delightful hosts to visitors from Australia. Paul took us to the top of his favourite local mountain - the view was like standing on top of the world, and I will always remember him there.

Paul was one of the main reasons I came back to Alberta in 1967, to join the Department of Biology. His wide range of interests were from Microtus population studies to plant ecology. Nothing topped his experiences at home in the Jumping Pound Creek hills ,except his love of Donna and family. My deepest sympathies to you all. Bob Church

Paul and I have not seen each other for many a long year, but he and I were among those who were actively involved in the evolution of the University of Calgary from the relics of the old Calgary Normal School. His contribution at that time was significant, particularly in the development of high standards of research and teaching in the Biological Sciences.

Our sincere condolences to Donna and family of Paul Knight Anderson. He was known by many at the University and his obituary has been forwarded to al the members of the Emeritus Association
