Helen and Family, Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you through these sensitive times. May you know Bob is with our Lord and Saviour. Heaven has just added a resonating bass to His Heavenly Choir. The roads were impassible Tuesday; still we remembered you all in our prayers. We will miss his singing, stories and his wisdom. We will visit the next time we come to Calgary. Love in the Lord, Dawn & Gerry Peterson ( Red Cliff, AB)

Helen, so sorry Ione and I didn't make it to Bobs' service. I was working ringing Bells for Sally Ann until 1 P.M . went to church but was unable to find parking spot. So sorry for your loss, we both express our sincerest sympathy. hodgsone-i@shaw.ca

I was saddened to hear this news and heaven is a whole lot brighter now. I have fond memories of Bob swinging some German terms by me and the love he shared with his beautiful family is evident. Let us all vow to carry on his amazing legacy!!

My deepest condolences to all the Brookwell Family.

I was one of the many students at John G. Diefenbaker who's life he touched. There was never a kinder more gentler man who took the time to know all the students in our school.. I remember always seeing a smile on his face each and every day. He was always willing to listen to our drama of teen life and we never felt judged by him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.. God Bless

There are people in our lives who helped shape who we are today. People who genuinely care that we live, love and laugh. Who on top of their busy lives with family, friends and careers, still make time to do things like coach the girls basketball team at John Diefenbaker high school. Who stop you in the school hallways to say "hey how are you doing?". And who blend their important job of protecting us as a policeman in such a way that he was more a friend and mentor than an enforcer of the law. "CB" as we know and love him was as much a part of my high school years as my teachers. I still remember CB joining us on the girls basketball tourney into BC when we had one of our first big road trips at the tender age of 17. Everything CB did for us during those important years of growing up has made lasting memories and guided us on the path of knowing what is right. My thoughts are with all of you as you share in the joy of an amazing man who touched thousands of people from so many walks of life.
