I knew Sharon through Rotary and always admired her professional poise & grace. She was someone I looked up to & she was always kind and generous. As a Seattle U alum I just became aware of her passing while reading the Alumni magazine. Prayers to her family.

In the short time I have known Sharon, we made some wonderful memories. My first memory is of the numerous emails until we finally decided to meet. Sharon contacted me after my request for any relatives in the Qualtrough genealogy living on the west coast to contact me. That was in 2002. Since I lived in Abbotsford, BC and she lived in Seattle, WA; we met half way in between. There was an instant bonding. She certainly was the excellent hostess and an amazing cook. She will be missed by her many friends.

Sharon and I met while pursuing MBA's at UW, --"the two older career women" although we were only in our early 30's. We did projects together, went on hikes, shopped, celebrated many wonderful Christmases. She was brilliant, elegant, and a great friend.

Sharon lit up a room with her grace and intense love of life. She was a great example for all .

It was a pleasure to know Sharon. She was a vibrant lady who was an inspiration. She seldom complained. She had such a beautiful smile, beautiful blue eyes that were so expressive. She bore her illness with grace. I shall miss her. My deepest condolences to friends and family
