WIEDEMANN, Janet (nee Morfitt) 1960 - 2010 "If you listen with your heart, you'll hear all my love around you soft and clear" It is with great sadness that the family of Janet Wiedemann (nee Morfitt), of Fort Smith and Inuvik, NT announces her passing on Monday, January 25, 2010 in Edmonton after a long and courageous battle with heart disease. Janet will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend Paul; her children Lisa (Jamie) and Luke, her grandchildren, Kieana, Jessie and Clyde, and her mother Maureen Morfitt. She will also be missed and fondly remembered by her sister Linda, brothers Derek, Kevin, Keith, Duane, Douglas, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Janet was predeceased by her father William and brother Billy. Funeral services will be held at St. John's Anglican Church in Fort Smith, NT at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010. Following the service, a celebration of Janet's life will be held at St. John's Anglican Community Hall. A memorial and celebration of Janet's life will also take place in Inuvik, NT. in the near future. Those who so desire may make Memorial Donations in memory of Janet to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut. When I am Gone Author Unknown "When I am gone, release me. Let me go.
