What a sweet character. I'm so saddened to hear of his passing. I always enjoyed him coming into Skyline Vision Clinic when I worked there from 2005-2014. Prayers to his family and friends during this loss. I'm glad I got to meet him.

My sympathy to Clark and Katie and their family.
Gay, "Son" was my mom's (Charlotte Gist Johnson) cousin. He was one of my favorite Colorado relatives! Whenever we would visit Son and Mildred they would always show us their horses and animals.

Of course, Son, always had exciting Western stories to tell us. My brother, Terry, and I could listen to him for hours. It seemed like he knew everyone in Canon City when we would go to town with him. He always had a friendly greeting for everyone and asked about their family.

When my husband, John, and I would take our kids(Christopher and Ben) to Colorado to visit family, we always had to go see Son, see his horses and animals and enjoy hearing some great stories! He will be missed.
