my sincerest condolences, a wonderful, encouraging light has gone out
You were a gift to everyone who was blessed to know you. My heart breaks to hear of your passing. You, your family, and friends are in our prayers. God Bless, you will be missed!!
Meridith brightened the lives of all she came across. It was her gift! She will be missed! Timme, you will be in my thoughts and prayers!
I work at WKU and first spoke with Ms. Burt in early 2012. One of our WKU students was incarcerated at FMC at the time, and I had called her in an effort to coordinate his classes. Even though I didn't know her on a personal level, her personality and kind heart came through each time we spoke. She was amazing! We have exchanged emails, and would talk on occasion to discuss details of courses. Her personality shone through each time we spoke. I have read many comments about her generous spirit and charisma - that came through in each thing she did, even by phone and email! What a blessing she was to so many!
Meridith, You are now gone, but not forgotten. Your smile, kindness and the memories we shared will always be dear to my heart. I will always cherish the time we spent together. Now that your work is done on earth. Go and dance with the angles. RIP Mer.
I work at FMC Lexington and met Ms.Burt at a retreat and we cut up so much that day and from then on she always spoke and smiled in passing. Meridith was such a joy that is why the day she left us it was a shock to us all. But she was a flower that was hand picked by "GOD" on that day. Her work here on earth was done. RIP Ms. Burt. My prayers and condolences to the family of Ms. Burt, her special friend, FMC Lexington family. I will continue to keep everyone in my thoughts and prayers.
Meredith, I am so blessed to have been a part of your life. You were the most loving and infectious person I ever got to call a friend. Your smile and zest for life will never be forgotten. I will always cherish the part of my that included you.
I am so saddened to hear of Meridith's passing. What a joy it was to know her!
Everytime she'd deliver my Dad's Meals-on-wheels lunch. he would grin ear-to-ear seeing her walk through the door with a friendly smile. Dear Timme and family, my heart aches for you and hopefully the sunshine she spread will live in you forever...

I pray for strength for T and the rest of your family and friends. Thank you for all those years of amazing memories and a friendship that will never be replaced!
