Daniel Leslie Obituary
26, of Canton; passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at his home. Born on Dec. 1, 1988, Dan graduated from Jackson High School in 2007; he was employed as a Network Administrator at Republic Storage Products LLC. While Dan enjoyed the freedom of riding his motorcycle and other casual pursuits, his passion was computer technology in its many forms.
Dan is survived by his loving family which includes his grandparents: Jim (Charlotte) VanVranken and Marge Dumovic; parents: Richard (Mary) Leslie and Barb (Todd) VanVranken; brothers: Jeff (Lori) Gray, Michael (Lynda) Leslie, and Jason Gray; sisters: Amanda Gray and Tara VanVranken; a plethora of adoring nieces and nephews; in addition to a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him greatly.
A Memorial Service will be held MONDAY, 4 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry Street (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton), with visitation from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Locks of Love@ <http://www.locksoflove.org> or The United Way of Greater Stark County

My thoughts and prayers are with your whole family. Many years have passed since I met Dan and his family for the Ulster Project but I won't forget the warmth his family showed to me. I hope that it gives you some comfort to know he is being remembered fondly by all his Irish friends. Xxx

I had the pleasure of working with Dan on some projects recently. He was a great guy, with a great smile and attitude& exceptionally bright. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family & loved ones.

My deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Dan. I had the honor of working with him and Mike at RSSC and have the utmost respect for both of them. I am so sorry for your loss and pray for your courage and peace to get you through this. Heaven must have needed an Ace computer guy and now they have one.

I was shocked to learn of Dan's passing. My sympathies and prayers go to his family, especially his brother Mike. He had many friends at Republic, and I was priveleged to have worked with him during his time there. He will be missed and I pray that he will find peace.

To Dan's parents, Mike, and all who loved him. My heart aches for your loss. While working with Dan at Republic, I found him to be a warm, sweet, funny, wonderful person. I am certain he will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. I wish there was something that could help take away the pain and grief, but having lost my 26 year old son in a car accident, I know the pain will always be in your heart. Please Remember how much it hurts indicates how much you truly loved him, and he was loved. May your memories of him be filled with the joy of his life and of having known him. May God's Love make your grief bearable.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Leslie family. I worked with Dan for just a short time but he was enjoyable to work with. He was always attentive and willing to help his coworkers. I know he was thought highly of by his Republic family. He will be missed.
