Gerald McFee Obituary

Gerald R. McFee
Age 89, of Massillon passed away Sept. 1, 2014. He was born July 18, 1925 in Canton to the late Ernest and Helen (King) McFee. During World War II he served in the Navy in the Pacific. Bob retired from Central States Can as a security guard. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, VFW, American Legion, Ohio Country Music Asso., and Buckeye Country Music Asso. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife, Gladys (2001); two sisters, Beverly Tully and Betty Secrest; and three brothers: Jim, Jerry and Bill.
He is survived by two daughters, Darla Valentine and Diane (Dwight) Hartline; son, Duane McFee; brother, Ronnie (Pam) Smith. He has five grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Garden. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m., and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Messages of support and sympathy can be sent to the family at:
