Howard Rowlands Obituary
Rowlands
84 of North Lawrence passed away, Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. He was born Jan. 29, 1928 in Macksburg, Washington County, Ohio to the late Dora and Eva Rowlands. He attended Jackson Schools, served in the US Army during the Korean War and retired from Eaton Corp. with 32 years of service in the Maintenance Dept. and was a lifelong member farmer. He was a member of Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church, North Lawrence. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rose Rowlands and son, Keith Rowlands of the home.
Funeral Service SATURDAY, 10 a.m. at the Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church, 14411 Orrville Street, North Lawrence with Pastor David Ignatius officiating. Friends may call Friday, 5-8 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) and Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until time of services. Burial in Newmans Creek Cemtery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Repair and Paint Improvement at the Chapel of the Cross UMC.
