Verda Smith Obituary
Age 91 of Canal Fulton died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012 at Chapel Hill Community, where she had been a resident since 2007. Verda was born in Robertsville, Ohio on May 26, 1921 to the late Guy and Nova (Anthony) Stonehill and had been a longtime member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Canal Fulton. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold C. Smith in 1981 and her daughter, Jayne Ellen Smith in 2007 and is survived by nephews , Robert and Dale Gimroth and special friends, Jean and Bob Wagner.
Funeral service TUESDAY, Dec. 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93, Canal Fulton) with Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. Burial at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Massillon. Friends may call at the funeral home TUESDAY, 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, 8101 Manchester Rd., Canal Fulton, Ohio 44614.

Robert & Dale Gimroth, Jean & Bob Wagner, Sorry to learn of the death of Great Aunt Verda. I have a fond memory of one Stonehill reunion that was held in the 1970's. We had it at their house. I remember the pretty setting. (I am the daughter of May Haynam-Boyd.)
