Jerry Bakes Obituary
71 of Canal Fulton died Monday, Aug. 31, 2015. Jerry was born Feb. 21, 1944 in Dennison, Ohio and had been a resident of Canal Fulton for 40 years. He was a mechanic in the U S Air Force and was a retired electrician with the Timken Co., with 40 years service.
Preceded in death by his sister, Shirley; Jerry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Beverly; daughter, Kim Bakes; grandchildren, Jared and Juliana Bakes and sister, Sandra Fawcett.
Funeral service will be SATURDAY, Sept. 5, 2015 at 1 p.m. in the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93, Canal Fulton) with Rev. James Scalf, officiating and where friends may call Saturday one hour prior to time of service. Immediately following the service a time of fellowship will take place. A private burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery, Canton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Defenders of Wildlife or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
