Joan always had a friendly smile and welcoming heart to every one she met. We enjoyed attending nursing seminars together, helping with the Y Senior program and attending some of their functions together. I have lost a very good friend. May the Lord walk with you, Ed, and the entire family, through these dark days. May you find peace knowing she has no more pain and is at peace with the Lord.

Joanie's warm and welcoming smile and her compassionate heart are some things I will miss about her. She had a wonderful ability and willingness to focus on whoever she was conversing with, making them feel they were important to her. She had a deep and devoted love for her family. I admired Joanie and Ed for the love and respect they showed to one another. My prayers are with you all today.
