Leslie McKinley Obituary
An amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, and physician lost her three year battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, with the same courage and grace with which she lived. Leslie was 34 years old. She was a 1999 graduate of Jackson High School, a graduate of Otterbein College where she was a member of the Kappa Phi Omega sorority, and she went on to attend medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Leslie practiced medicine at Kreptowski Family Practice, and most recently at Family Physicians, Inc. where she treated every patient like family.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Tuttle and grandparents, Rudolph and Mildred Valentine, and Obert and Luella Tuttle. The loves of her life were her husband, Scott Kenreich; son, Zachary; parents, Fred and Gail Tuttle; sister, Lisa (Paul) Lyda, niece and nephews, P.J., Jeff, Ben, and Matt Lyda, Carl and Jackie Kenreich, and Mason Siron; mother and father-in-law, David and Judy Kenreich; sister-in-law, Sara (Jon) Siron, brother-in-law, Sean Kenreich.
Our family would like to extend tremendous gratitude to the Palliative Team, Summa Hospice, and the 7E staff at Summa Akron City Hospital. We are eternally grateful for their love and care for Leslie and our family. Her humanness, care, dignity, class, style, grace, and beauty towards us all will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Leslie's life and recognition of the joy she gave to others will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015, from 5-8 p.m, at the Lake Cable Club House (5725 Fulton Dr. NW, Canton, OH 44718). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory at: www.gofundme.com/safuteleslie.com. Arrangements under the direction of the Mark R. Vrabel Funeral Home of North Canton, Ohio (330-452-4041).

Thought of Leslie (Tuttle) today. I remember when she was a young med student back in 2000. Bright eyed and ready to take on the world. My wife Lili and I kept in touch through the years and we miss her. A great person and a great doctor. The world was a better place when she was in it.

Leslie is still in my memories as one of the three grandchildren that Millie and Rudy loved to take to Tappan Lake when they were young children. Millie and Rudy absolutely adored her grandchildren and the thought of them losing both Jeff and Leslie is absolutely heart wrenching to me even today as I think about the close bond that they had and the deep love they all shared. Both Jeff and Leslie's time on earth were cut far too short. Their untimely passing makes me think of the song by Billy Joel "Only the Good Die Young".
Millie and Rudy were very special in my life and I like to think that Millie, Rudy, Jeff, and Leslie are are united in heaven once again. Eternal thoughts and prayers for Leslie and all her family members.

I would like to extend my condolences to Dr.McKinley's family and friends. I had the pleasure of working with Dr.McKinley and she was by far, the nicest, sweetest and most endearing Dr. and lady I have ever met. She was idolized by her peers and she will live in my memories and heart forever. May she RIP and may God watch over her family to get them through this emotional time.

It deeply saddens me to hear the news of Leslie's passing. She was my physician and friend. Being a nurse myself, she always spoke to me as a friend and colleague and I truly appreciated her as a friend and caregiver. She was so beautiful both on the inside and out and I will miss her so much. I hope her spirit will inspire me as I pursue my Family Nurse Practitioner degree to continue her caring for others. I am a better person for having known her and she will not be forgotten.

As my doctor, Leslie became the silver lining every time I became sick, because at least it meant I got to see her! A trip to the doctor's office was more like a visit to catch up with an old friend. I loved her way of treating her patients and making us all feel like family. She was a beautiful, loving soul. I appreciated her approach: warmth and honesty with a twist of humor. Our family is extremely saddened to learn about the untimely loss of Leslie on this earth. How tragic and seemingly unfair to lose such a wonderful person to such a terrible disease at the young age of 34. I personally came to know Leslie, Lisa, and Jeff through my friendship with Millie and Rudy years ago. As I traveled to Tappan Lake the other day, I could not help but think about all the wonderful stories Millie use to share with me about her early camping trips with her three grandchildren (Leslie, Lisa, & Jeff) to this area. Tragic events have struck again and it truly saddens my heart to learn of Leslie's fate. I can only find solace in believing that Millie, Rudy, and Jeff await her with open arms as she enters the gates of Heaven. Our prayers will be with her family always and her life will serve as a constant reminder how fragile life really is.

Dr. McKinney has been my Doctor for the past year and my interactions with her were always positive. I did not even know she was suffering from Cancer. What a great, strong, and brave lady to continue caring for patients despite her own ailments.
