Pleasant memories of Mark and the Hurley family while growing and learning on "Caroline Drive" in the forties. Mark always was great to me-Bill Fisher

Its wonderful to hear the stories of my Father-In-Law as a young man. I have only known Mark for 7 years, but felt that he was a wonderful Father to my Husband Will. I remember the great stories that Mark would tell like how he was too shy to escort Japan's Miss Universe, how he played with a famous basketball player in a pick up game, and other stories that let you know that he wasn't going to take bull from anyone!. My Husband has fond memories of special times with his Dad at YMCA summer camp, hiking, fishing and baseball games. Mark was a kind Grandpa. He will be missed by our whole family.

As Mark's nephew, Mark always took time to entertain my sister and I as we were growing up. I remember Mark taking us swimming at Aters lake and Gold Cliff. I have always looked up to Mark and will miss him very much.

So sorry to hear of the sudden loss of Uncle Mark. I have many wonderful memories of him. He was always our "cool" uncle.During the 60's he drove a woody stationwagon that the surfers drove. He would take my brother and I swimming. When I was in college he had a GTO that he would let me borrow. Always so generous.. he took me to wonderful restaurants to eat when I was in college.

In the past 6 years, I loved to visit him on my trips to Denver. We would have lunch at a restarant on the lake in Evergreen... always beautiful scenery to dine by. I know why he loved it there so much.

We will all miss you!

Diane
