James E. Shell, 79, of North Port, FL and formerly of Glen Burnie/Severna Park, died August 12. He was born April 20, 1934 in Greenville, AL. He was of the Baptist faith and served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his devoted wife, Beverly; two sons, Edward and Arthur Shell; daughter, Amy Jones; step daughter, Phyllis Bushey; and six grandchildren, Jonathan Brown, Rob and Laura Jones, Caleb Shell, Laura Shell and Rachel Bushey; and two great-grandchildren, Lindsey and Nicole Brown. Celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor's charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to the National Cremation Society of Port Charlotte, FL.
