What a wonderful Chief he was, I served under him in Rota. I hop he enjoyed his retirement. I am quite sure he will be dearly missed.

Dear Yona and Family,
Please forgive us for not contacting you sooner as we just now learned of Tom's passing from Kelly (in Germany) as we have been remiss in keeping in touch (new baby and all) nonetheless we are thinking of you and want to thank you and Tom for all the hospitality you have shown us through the years. Some people are born to be outrageously cool; that was Tom. Ya either got it, or ya don't. HE GOT IT. While Brian enjoyed discussing History and Politics with Tom, their real camaraderie was when they spoke of their beloved Red Sox. However Brian always laughs when he remembers Tom saying (in dark of night) "Brian, if I want to scare you, I'll cough, If I want to take off your head, I'll let my 45 graze your thumb." HAHA. Here's to a man who knew a friend when he saw one. And a man whose friends loved him, no matter how long or brief. Brian Leffler, Kathryn Lippincott Leffler, and Family

To Yona, Keren, Tami and extended family,
You are and have been in my heart and prayers over the past several years. No words can express my sorrow for your lost. It's not a great trade off, I know that, but Tom suffers no more and is with you now in spirit and never ending love. May he rest in peace.

Yona, I will miss Tom, his good nature and sense of humor, his love of his family, and his obvious devotion to you.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
