To the Family,

I saw the the life story of Carl in the Navy. I thought it was a good movie and I was touch.

I understand what you are experiencing and feeling. No amount of words can ease the pain of your loss. We know firsthand there are no words of comfort at this time. We lost our son on 9-3-2004 at the age of 19. Just know that there are many families across the USA who is experiencing your loss and pain.

Carl - It took guts to do what you did. You knew what you wanted in life. That opened doors for many. My family and I are thankful for the Bravery, Courage, Determinination and Service to fight for our country, (our freedom) from you..., my son and all the others in our armed forces for the sacrifice made for us. You all will not be forgotten.

May he rest in peace knowing that he was loved and remembered by those who knew him as well as strangers who admired his courage and sacrifice? My deepest condolences, sympathy and prayers go out to the entire family. May God grant you peace, strength and comfort? I will keep your family in my prayers along with all the families of our American Hero’s. --Thank you.
