Jim will be missed, an ideal boss, a true leader, honest, sincere, he cares for his people, fight for his people. The years I spent working for him was one of the best year of my life, we had a the best CVSO, always number 1, we were the A team, due to his guidance and leadership by example, like having a dad and a grandfather

Dear Uncle Jim,

Men like you are hard to come by. I feel honored to have been able to know a man of your discipline and to have learned from a man of your integrity. The love that you showed for Sandy, Jimmy, & Stacy is a model that I will try to share with Brennan and my family. Thank you for the kindness that you showed to me, and the many wonderful memories.

Sincerely,

Hello Sandy, Jimmy, & Stacey: I am so sad to learn of Jim's passing yet happy that he can be relieved of his pain and suffering and finally get to a place where the Padres never lose a game. I have great respect for my brother in law. I will never forget his appearance on the Hawaiian stage as 'Satchmo'. I am currently in the mountains in Spain walking the Camino de Santiago where there is no better place to pray and remember what a good man Jim Stodola was and to ask God to bring him into His morning 'coffee group' and maybe in doing so he can have some influence in bringing us all together again. I love you all, Bill
