Deepest sympathies to the entire Hickey family. I lived across the street from his parents on Mason in Chicago. Many times I sat with his mom discussing how proud she was of her children. Kevin will be missed by many.
To my Aunt Kathy and all my Cousin's i am sorry for your loss, we all were so proud of Kevin and he will be greatly missed. Love to all of you. Keith Aratin-West
To the Hickey Family,
My heartfelt sympathies, I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
To the Hickey family, I am sorry for your loss. Memories are the best, I know "Kevin" is in heaven striking out the side for a one, two, three inning. I remember one game where "Kevin" struck out the great "Reggie Jackson" what a moment. Thanks for the good times....
Bucky and all of the Hickey Family,
I could not be sorrier for the great loss you are suffering. I know how proud you were of him, and so were we all. You are in my thoughts and prayers. He was one of the good guys.

My heart goes out to Kevin's entire family. I watched Kevin pitch his heart out nearly everyday at Burroughs playground playing 'fast pitch' against the wall. We were all very proud of him when he made the Sox team and followed his career for these many years. God bless him.

My son now pitches in college partly due to Kevin's coaching. He was a great instructor. Caring, humor, patience and encouragement were what he was about. RIP Southsider. You will be missed. You are now pitching on the Lord's team. God bless the Hickey family.
