Dear Merelee, David and Family:
The Loss of a Family Member is always difficult and we wish to express our sympathy to your extended family. Reading about his service to our country, the expertise he provided in education, his community involvement, and what we know of your family are some of the best measures of success and fond memories that we would all hope to strive for and emulate.
Jack and I are so sorry for your loss of your Dad; and can only imagine how hard it must've been yesterday for you and your dear Mom - (and for the rest of your own Immediate Family) - on your first Mother's Day............ without your Dad. My heart genuinely a.c.h.e.s. for you and your entire Family.
May you now find comfort in Good Memories; and I fervently pray that God will also comfort and guide your Mom and both of you, Merelee and David, in your time of deep sorrow, too.
I had the privilege of working with Lee when he served as a Dept. head in the College of Agriculture at Penn State. I at the time was serving as the Assistant Dean for Extension. It was always a pleasure to interact with Lee on issues facing the College. He had a "sharp" intellect and grasped issues quickly. I am sure he will be missed by many friends and family. Craig Oliver

Mike and Merelee, my thoughts are with you and your families.
MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE.
MY CONDOLENCES TO JODI AND FAMILY FOR THEIR LOSS.
Thinking of you and your family, Michael, and hope the wonderful memories of your dad keep a smile on your face now and in the days ahead.
Irish Blessing ~
May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow. May the soft winds freshen your spirit. May the sunshine brighten your heart. May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you, and may God enfold you in the mantle of His love.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Day family. I will fondly remember Mr. Day's infectious chuckle and the sparkle in his eyes when he smiled. He and Mrs. Day always welcomed me with delight whenever I came to visit brother David, Merelee and the boys. May all your memories warm your hearts and souls.
Sometimes mere words just aren't enough to take away our grief, so we rely on God for help and strength in our belief. May He uplift you gently, take the sorrow that you bear, then comfort you with healing in the safety of His care.
May you draw close to God in prayer and find comfort in reading his Word.
So sorry for you loss. My sincerest condolences.
