I was lucky enough to have him, and then my daughter also had him.
He told her she would have to cut her nails, and she said "Well my mom did not" he then knew who she was.
I was lucky enough to be the second generation of my family taught by Mr. Kelleher. Every time I took a typing test, I wondered how he would react to the results. (He wouldn't have believed I ever got above 40wpm, and I'll bet my recent 60wpm would've been quite a shock!) So sorry to hear of his passing, but I loved reading about his full life after retirement. My heartfelt condolences to his family, and fond memories of my days at Bellefonte High. (Class of 1986, my mother was class of 1968.)

John & Family,
I am sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was a wonderful man who always had a smile as well as those tootsie rolls. My thoughts are with you family.
My Mom had him for typing back in the 1964-1965 her name was Gayle Roberts
I had him for a homeroom teacher. He was so sweet.
I have had many customers but not one ever had the effect on me as this dear man.
Loved him and his family with all my heart. Heaven gained earths best. For sure miss him
I had one of his 9th grade Business classes, where he advised us on what a CPA does and how great a career that could be. He greatly influenced my career choose. I'm sure he impacted many others. Thanks.
John and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your father passing. He had such a wonderful smile and I enjoyed having him as a teacher.
My sincere sympathy to the Kelleher family...neighbors and friends.
John and family, please accept my sympathies in the loss of your Dad. I do know how tough it is to lose someone, but somehow it just seems tougher when it is around the holidays. As everyone always says, just keep the memories close and it will sustain you. Your Dad and Mom will now be watching over you kids as they did for many years. Love ya buddy. Maybe someday we can sit and talk again. Maybe I'll bring Lisa this time.
