My condolences go out to the family. I went to PSU with Steve. Lost touch as so many do. But hooked up for a bit on the internet. Sorry
Kathy and Family,
I was very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I always looked forward to seeing Steve at the Old Oak Tavern whenever I was in town. Being in Kansas City, I did not hear about Steve's battle with cancer as the last time I saw Steve, he was his usual entertaining self and always had a good story and a few jokes to share. I walked into to Tavern yesterday looking forward to catching up on the latest news, only learn of the sad news. I will really miss him as I am sure all of his friends and family will.
Kathy and family: We are so sorry to hear of your loss we enjoyed Steve's laughterand loved to listen to him talk; he will be missed. our sympathies
My deepest condolences to the entire Herr family for their loss.

Kathy and Children,
I am so sorry for your loss of Steve. Always a great guy and always made me laugh when visiting!
Praying that you may find peace knowing he is not in pain.
Kathy, Victoria and Alex,
I was shocked and in disbelief in hearing of Steve's untimely passing. I remember fondly how Steve and your family were among the first to welcome our family to Pine Grove Mills. Steve was generous with his help getting us settled in the community; memories of our summer conversations when you two visited will be treasured. I'll especially remember his special, yet thoughtful, sense of humor when I visited him at the Old Oak.
May God bless him.
With our sincere sympathy,
Rod, Tiffany and family
Kathy & family:
Please accept my sympathy in Steve's passing. I always enjoyed talking with him when we were neighbors in Pine Grove Mills. I loved hearing him talk about all the renovations he had done and looking through the photo album of the transformation of the Old Oak Tavern. I will always remember him fondly, singing on stage at the Old Oak Tavern with a huge smile on his face.
Dear Kathy and children: So very, very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We were so happy he came out last month to hear us play....his spirit lives on in our world of music.
