Kathleen M. (Kathi) Wheeler Kathleen M. "Kathi" Wheeler, 69, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013, at the Reading Hospital & Medical Center. She was the wife of Harold A. Wheeler, Jr., with whom she shared 46 years of marriage on April 22nd. Born in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Edward G. and Virginia I.(McClellan) Miller. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, David H. Wheeler, husband of Michele E., Greenville, S.C.; two daughters, MariAnn W., wife of William Butler, Knoxville, Tenn., and Ginger K., wife of Drexel Wright, Bloomsburg; a brother, Edward R. Miller, Bellefonte; two sisters, Judy, wife of Edward T. Wadding, Butler, and Colleen Miller, Richmond, Va.; eight grandchildren, Carleen and Gabrielle DeFabbio-Wheeler, Lauryn and Alison Butler, Jenna, DJ, Sarah, and Daniel Wright; a great granddaughter, Carraghn DeFabbio-Wheeler; and several nieces; nephews; and cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Miller; and a brother, Tim Miller. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Community Evangelical Church, 51 Green Valley Road, Sinking Spring, with her pastor, the Rev. Matthew Hill officiating. Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Centre County Memorial Park, Benner Pike, State College. Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville, is in charge of arrangements. Her trust in Jesus inspired many to finish the race with perseverance. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Evangelical Church Mission Fund, 51 Green Valley Rd., Sinking Spring, PA 19608.
