Hipp
as some of us knew him was the friend you always wanted around. I
remember the good old days as though they were yesterday. I am proud to consider you a friend. Godspeed Amigo. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

I'm sorry to hear of Roger's passing. I remember growing up, as most people have already said, he always had that grin on his face which was contagious as it made those around him smile. He will be missed.

Roger's friendship was always an important one to everyone in our days at Penns Valley and Vo-tech. He had a way of picking up spirits and make everyone laugh. He was one of those people who would not look at someone trying to figure out if they know them from somewhere, but actually say "hi" just in case he did know you. May God watch over the family and the friends who will miss him.

I am very sorry for your loss, I met Roger about 20 years ago threw a mutual friend at campus casino, He taught me ( or at least tried) to teach me pool and introduced me to beaver springs. He was a wonderful person and a good friend and I will never forget him.

Dear Jim, Annette, Tim, Romane and other family members.

Jack and I were very distressed to hear of your loss today. We didn't know Roger, but we're sure he was raised in a loving family environment and that you will all miss him greatly.

Just knowing he is in the loving arms of God and is free of pain and suffering should help make his passing more bearable. We can't begin to imagine how much you will all miss Roger as he must have been a very special person from all the comments in this Guest Book that were written by the people who knew him.

Our thoughts and prayers go out for you in this time of bereavement.

Roger had a special grin that was warm and sincere but yet, he was always up to something! Living close to his mother's home, we were very familiar with the ground breaking roar of his race car when testing it down rt 45 every once in a while. That would always put a smile on our faces.

Roger as his name on his car at the time, is 'larger than life'. He brought giggles and gasps to the girls and lots of head shaking from the guys. You never knew what he was going to say and we all loved that about him.

He made us appreciate the NOW and not fret the future or unknown. He watched other people so well, their reactions, body movements, and their faces. He would know what you are feeling or thinking and call you on it immediately. That was a very special gift.

Racing was his passion. He was somewhat of a perfectionist which played a terrific role in the build of his vehicles as well as the precision of his excellent work using heavy equipment. He loved to talk about how he was so good at finishing the job at his work. He was loyal and trustworthy through and through.

Tough exterior but a soft heart.
Our "larger than life" friend is sadly missed by many. His voice will never leave our minds, our souls, our hearts......

Thank you Roger, for sharing your life with us and teaching us to value today rather than tomorrow!

To Roger's family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. I am also very sorry we didnt get the opportunity to get to know each other like I had hoped we would someday. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Roger-give Nan and Pap a hug from me and tell them I miss them so much!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Tim and family, I am so sorry to hear of Roger. Growing up in PV with both of you was an experience and fun. Beaver Springs will never be the same. I didn't realize he was ill, but trust he is in no more pain. My thoughts are with you at this time.
