Sue and I were camp counselors together at Huntington, Ct. and crazy Camp Rollaway, and eventually students at Wellesley in 1950-51. I just learned of her death in our Wellesley Magazine. Please convey my sympathy to her husband to her sister, Joan, whom I met years ago at Penn. State one special weekend. Sue was a very remarkable woman, someone I truly admired as a friend. Sorry we lost touch over many years. Recently I heard from her, and we shared our life stories.

Bob,
I am sorry to learn of your loss of Susan. One of my favorite memories is of the time Lois and I visited you and Susan years ago in Kalispell. You took me fishing to the headwaters of the Hungry Horse Dam and Susan took Lois to the studio of Ace Powell, where she bought a turquoise ring Powell had received in payment from an Indian medicine man in exchange for painting his portrait (at least that was his wife's story.) Pleasant memories help us deal with the pain of losing a loved on. I'm sure you have many beautiful memories of life with Susan.
