Chad passed away five years ago today. I occasionally see Chad and Shelby on reruns of Tattletales, and I have all seven seasons of Medical Center. Their memory lives on.

I know a lot of time has passed since Chad Everett left this temporary place. I can't think of my growing up without watching Medical Center on Monday nights and it's been 41 years since I graduated from high school. Friends would have plans but I wouldn't miss an episode. I miss TV being like it was back when you could watch shows on TV with your kids and now grandchildren.
From what I know Chad Everett was such a fine man and especially for Hollywood. Even back in his prime time of acting, he and his wife, Shelby Grant, had a marriage based on love and it was unwavering for each other and the Lord. I respect the both of them immensely for upholding these values in a culture where most marriages do not last. They had a true love story.
May God bless Chad Everett's girls and his grandchildren.
