Artie Bradley MONCKS CORNER - Mr. Artie Carroll Bradley, 79, of Moncks Corner, entered into rest Friday, May 31, 2013, in Berkley County. Funeral services will be conducted 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, June 5, 2013, from Welch Creek Baptist Church, 536 Welch Creek Road, Walterboro. Pastor James H. Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral ceremony that afternoon beginning at 1 o'clock in Welch Creek Baptist Church. Born July 20, 1933, a native of Moncks Corner, he was a son of the late Ben Bradley and the late Verna Mae Williams Bradley. He was formerly a pipefitter with the Charleston Naval Shipyard and was of the Independent Baptist faith. Surviving are: a daughter, Debra Bradley Faulkenberry and her husband Kenneth of Walterboro; a son, Billy Hudson of Walterboro; and a sister, Ellen Wright of Bonneau. There are four grandchildren, Robbie Faulkenberry, Jamie Hudson, Denise Hudson, and Donna Hiers; as well as seven great-grandchildren that also survive. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Keith Joseph Faulkenberry. Mr. Artie will be truly missed. He was a great man. Everyday I came to work he would be sitting at his table with a smile and always ask me how I'm doing and if I needed anything. I'm going to miss seeing him there everyday

I am so shocked and sadden by the lost of Artie. He was a friend of mine for years and visited my home many times with Dick Murray. We had a lot of meals together, and shared many good times. He sister Ellen is a true friend of mine also, I am so sorry for all the family is going through and you will be in my prayers.

Family and friends - my heart is broken with the passing of Mr. Artie - I saw him at Walmart all the time and looked forward to seeing him smile. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed.
