"The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains... For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We remember fondly Rev. Dr. Bolds and the many shared memories from his years of pastoral tenure at Mt. Pleasant R.M.U.E. Church, Pinewood, SC

Family: I extend my sincerest sympathies to you on behalf of myself and family. Vernie was an unwitting mentor to me during my HS years. His entrance in Law School propelled me to do the same. He showed a poor boy that you can excel despite your beginning circumstances. Forever grateful.
