Jamie & Family,
My heart goes out to y'all losing a loved one so close to the holidays is the hardest thing ever! I know I lost my mother before Christmas last year. But it being so unexpected I don't know as much! All I can say is stay strong live his memory and pass it on to all the kiddos... present and in the future! I pray for peace and comfort and pray that you can enjoy the holiday even through the hard times.. It will get better but I cant say it will get 100% cause I know I still struggle! I don't know the rest of you just Jamie, but if you need anything please let us know. Love ya Jamie and BIG BIG HUGS!

Jerri, Jamie, and Justin,
I only met your dad the one time at Jerri's wedding. I saw where you all got your fun loving spirit. The fact that the three of you are such awesome people really says a lot about your dad and the way you were raised. Stick together and continue to be the wonderful people you are. That is probably the best way to honor your dad. Your kids will love you for it!

In the days that have passed since my Dad has had his accident, great memories have brought me to tears.
I'd like to share a few, there was a time where every Christmas came around he would encourage us to make Christmas cookies/and he had to make his pies. His favorite cookies to make were raisin filled and his favorite pies were(pronunciation) coco-nut crehm phi & Punkin' Phi. I wasn't very fond of the raisin filled but I'll tell ya what, they're sounding pretty darn good right now!
ha ha
I always called him every Monday when I went to play Texas Holdem. We would just talk about what's been going on lately.
His love for Penguins and for ICE CREAM; The Ocean; babies; will be here forever! There was never a flavor of ice cream he didn't like. I remember him telling me, that he told his doctor that he was on a diet. Because he didn't cut back on ice cream but....he added fruit to it.ha ha I had the pleasure of spending almost a whole day at the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl in Boston this past June. At one point of the "Scooper Bowl" I had MORE cups than he did! I remember looking at him and counting bowls against how many he had, WE really COULD NOT believe how many cups I had compared to him. So he had to EAT MORE ICE CREAM! Which was really no problem. I was ready to go, but we stayed a while longer so that he could get a hat from a particular ice cream brand. I believe the ice cream was called " HOLY COW" It was pretty delicious.
What I will miss the most is his smile; his scent; his toes (my immediate family knows what I mean)his hugs & kisses; The way he shook his belly when he hugged me. His love for my son. His little jokes that sometimes took me a while to get. His military talks with my husband, that half the time I didn't understand a word they said. When I asked for an explanation, I still didn't understand.
He was an awesome father, was always there when you needed him. I could talk to him about anything, always.
I'm going to miss him so much, but I know he is watching over me and my family & friends from the heavens. He's up there with so many other GREAT people I've missed already. So I know he's in great hands!
I'd like to share the ironic things that have happened since he has gone: 1.His favorite movie has played on t.v. League of Their own ( I haven't seen that movie played on t.v. EVER.)
2. I had a dream about him a few days ago & there was a Tori Amos song involved in the dream. When Rhonda and I went out for lunch, That same Tori Amos song played. (TORI IS NEVER PLAYED IN RESTAURANTS!)
3. I've never seen so many people besides my Dad want Ice Cream. My husband and his immediate family, have been eating ice cream almost every night. :)

I could go on, and on and on- For-evvveerrr. Although, I would be taking up all the pages in this guest book.
So I will end this with.
I love you Dad, for eternity.
Love you Always,
Your Little Girl.
Jamie Rae. AKA: Namie.

My heart and thoughts are with you all everyday. I know how much you miss him and can't seem to grasp the thought that it's true. Losing someone you Love so much and so suddenly is never easy to understand. We are heartbroken for the loss of a wonderful kind man who helped so many on his travels but most of all for a precious family member who can never be replaced. I pray for each of you everyday to find comfort in his memory and love.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

We say “I love you” just about every day. Sometimes the words are whispered as we fall asleep at night; sometimes they are spoken at the end of a phone call or accompanied by a quick kiss as we rush out the door. The words are always there, but sometimes we forget to think about how much they really mean.

Every time you hear me say those three little words, I want you to remember that they're coming from the bottom of my heart.

I want you to remember that I love you for everything you are and for everything I am with you. I want you to remember that you're the best person I've ever known and I feel so lucky to have you in my life. I want you to remember that true love is forever and there is no love truer than the love I feel for you. I want you to remember that you're the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me.

My happy ending, my dream come true, my friend and my love all wrapped up in one.
I love you Baby,
Love Richard

Richard found this at a truck stop while he was working OTR (over the road) passing thru Vegas about a year ago. He was missing me and mailed it so the post mark would have Las Vegas.(For those of ya'll that don't know,we where married in Vegas at Graceland Chapel, By Elvis.) I wanted to share it with you. These three words are very powerful and take on an even deeper meaning for me now.

The last words we said to one another where. “Night, I love you Baby”. And he always ended with “Sweet dreams”, whether he was with me or out on the road.

God sent his angels to take my Richard home. Changed my life forever. Richard is my TRUE LOVE, MY EVERYTHING. My heart is hurting and broken. I can't see my way and I am so lost without you. But know this Richard, I will make it through this with our faith, family and friends supporting us. You know I have the will and the love to continue your legacy with our children and grandchildren.

Your request was honored to be returned to the sea.
Fair winds and following seas my love.

I will always love you and I will see you later!!!
