Annie Stutts Obituary

Annie Barnette Stutts TERRELL - Annie Barnette Stutts, 96, of Terrell, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Sherrills Ford Hospice House. She was born on July 5, 1918 in Iredell County, to the late Wallace and Lottie Honeycutt Barnette. Mrs. Stutts was a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Gordon Stutts; sons, Kelly Stutts, Kenton Stutts; son-in-law, Paul Elmore; sister, Vessie Black; brother, Andrew Barnette, Eugene Barnette; and granddaughter, Starr Stutts. She is survived by her children, Clay Stutts, Tommy Stutts, Harold Stutts, Jewell Elmore; and thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 3, at Rehobeth United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Robert L. Kerr officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30-3:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catawba Regional Hospice, 7473 Sherrills Ford Rd., Sherrills Ford, NC 28673 and/or Rehobeth United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 356, Terrell, NC 28682. Cavin-Cook Fuenral Home, Mooresville, is serving the Stutts family. Condolences may be made to the family at www.cavin-cook.com.
