I found out two hours ago that Dr. Brigham had passed away. I was going to call him today about my back, he cleared me to play football my senior year he was my last resort and I'm glad I seen him, he was a great man and always happy. He will be truly missed. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

Dr. Brigham performed surgery on my lower back almost 11 yeas ago... he did an excellent job. His followup advice and instructions were right on target and I've been able to live a relatively pain free life since. He was by all accounts one of the finest surgeons in his field. He will be greatly missed.

To his family - Thank you for sharing him with the world.
To his co-workers - Continue to strive to deliver the high quality of service as he did to your patients, as he would have expected.

May God bless each of you in the months and years ahead.

I too was shocked to learn just today that Dr. Brigham had passed away. My son Aaron (now 19) saw Dr. Brigham as a patient about a year ago. Aaron had recently been diagnosed with a PARS defect and a friend of mine suggested we see Dr. Brigham for his advice and counsel. I saw in Dr. Brigham so much of what I feel helps make a good physician...his manner with Aaron, his candor, his expertise, his willingness to entertain any and all questions we had about Aaron's condition and his spot-on advice. It was all truly appreciated. Aaron is an avid golfer who has since dedicated himself to an even greater level of physical fitness...as Dr. Brigham suggested. There was no sugar coating applied to Aaron's PARS defect...and Dr. Brigham's candid advice, given with all the caring, patience and empathy one could hope for helped Aaron to move on and learn to deal with his condition. I've managed around 2 herniated discs diagnosed 12 years ago and I knew that should my condition progress from manageable to something worse that Dr. Brigham would have been the physician I reached out to. Again, I gained this respect and appreciation in only 20 minutes or so of his conversation with my son. So while I'm shocked at his passing, I'm not at all surprised to see all the kind words by so many. He was a big help to Aaron, and for that we're grateful. God bless you Dr. Brigham.

I just found out this morning, June 27, that Dr. Brigham passed away. I was so shocked, he was my surgeon last July and basically saved me from the incredible pain I was in for a long time. I always felt so lucky to have been sent to him for my fusion surgery...my deepest condolences to his family and friends..so sad. I talked with him alot over the year n a half I knew him, and had such great respect and trust for him. He will be so missed.

Craig was a very good Dr. and person. He helped me with 3 surgeries and he explained to make me understand what he was going to do. We had a connection from his past days a a tall gymnast. He will be missed. RIP Craig.

I was shocked to learn recently of Dr.Brigham's passing.I am an "old" orthopaedic nurse, having worked two tours of duty at Orthopaedic Hospital of Charlotte(OHOC for those of us that remember when)on total joints.I knew of him and his excellent surgical skills thru contact with his fellow orthopaedic surgeons,nurses,x-ray techs and clinic staff.God has a wonderful spine surgeon at his side...God Bless him and his family.

I remember you as this brilliant, 'adonis' gymnastics athlete when I was in gymnastics at South Eugene High School in 1971. I was a year ahead of you and graduated in January, 1971. We didn't know each other well, but your gifts made you stand out and I remembered you.
I was recently musing about friends and other individuals that I recalled from those days and did a few what-ever-happened-to-that-person google look-ups, whereupon I learned about your profession and death. While it was inspiring to learn about someone fulfilling the promise of their considerable gifts, I am so sorry about your untimely passing. Like a Super Nova you came and went.
What a guy!

I am in shock! Dr. Brigham operated on my teenage son and encouraged him in many ways. We loved him! My son is having back trouble and I got on the internet to look up the number to make an appointment with him. That is when I saw this terribly sad news! I am praying for his family!
