My condolences to the Fawcett family during your great loss. May the God of all comfort help you with such grief. Trust the scriptures and He will help you cope.
So saddened to hear of this great man's passing. He was a friend of my Dad's and I had the privilege to meet him a couple times. My brother and I became fascinated with ufo's and as Mt. Airyians we remember some spottings there-late 60's/70's. God Bless you family and his many dear friends. He'll be truly missed
Not related by anything other than the same name. RIP George, say hello to my dad and Granddad both also George Fawcett.
God Bless. May George finally know the truth about aliens from God himself.
George was a great man. He worked so hard for what he believed in. I met him a few years ago and ended up joining MUFON for a few years. George was a quiet gentle man and a gentleman. He never put me off or said he didn't have time to talk when I called him. God Speed, George.
George, rest in peace and thank you for the wonderful person your are and always will be. Thank you for all the research that you did and all the knowledge that you passed on.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Shirley; God Bless you as you struggle with your loss. It was so sweet to see you and Mr. George together and to learn more about your life together.
I am proud to have known him; He was a pillar of early ufology. God's speed, to finding the Truth, on the otherside.
Your Friend,Bruce Widaman
What a kind, nice person George was. I knew him from my time as Assistant State Director with MUFON NC, APRO, and the New Age Foundation. He will be greatly missed. Peggy Price
He will be missed, I am a MUFON Field Investigator and enjoyed talking with Mr. Fawcette and learned alot along the way.
My husband and I have fond memories of our visit with George to discuss his interest in UFOs. He was a very nice man. Our condolences to his family.
Mr. Fawcette occasionally called on the advertising department at Harris Teeter's Corporate offices. I believe he was with the Maiden newspaper. We enjoyed hearing his stories and always looked forward to seeing him in our offices.
I grew up in Greensboro knowing this man's name. He did some important work and may he now rest with peace.
