Ed and I were good friends in high school, and I was so sad to hear the news. He was such a smart and funny guy; I know that he will be missed by friends and family. My sympathies.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.....

Ed was a person I could truly call a friend, and I like to think that I am better for knowing him.

Other things that come to mind when I think about him: HERO, FRIEND, and one HELLUVA PILOT!!!
