Randal and Melissa, You and your family will be in our prayers. God Bless you all. Steve Dalton.
No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. Our deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.
To the Slusher family, I did not have the pleasure of knowing Jordan, nor do I know any of you....but I feel that Jordan has touched my heart. I have prayed for your family since I came to know of what happened. Not realizing the significance at the time, I passed Jordan and his friends at the top of the mountain that Saturday. Stone Mountain has always been a place to bring me a great amount of peace, but how can a place bring one person peace when it has brought another so much sorrow? I will never return to the mountain without thinking of Jordan and your family. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
We are deeply sorry for your loss. We understand what you may be going though. We have lost four children and know something about the pain of it. We have a ministry called Footprints to help families in grief. This is our website: http://www.angelfire.com/ny5/footprintsministry/index.HTML
We use Griefshare material and you can go on www.griefshare.org and find a church near you that has this ministry too. Also have a community memorial garden called Our Children's Memorial Garden in Frazier Park to remember those who have died in our area at any age. You can adopt a brick in memory of your precious child or friend at www.ocmw.org We have families from 20 states and two foreign countries who have engraved bricks in our garden in uptown Charlotte. Our email address is jerrymudge@bellsouth.net if we can help in any way. Jerry and Skip Mudge
