Oh Jackie! I went to bed the other night smiling thinking about you making everyone laugh, especially me. You were a hoot to work with and a great true friend. It's been a while, but I remember that high pitched way you would talk to Cricket and it brings a smile.
I say a prayer to your family.

Dear Meredith,
We were very sorry to learn of Jackie's passing from the newspaper. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. We knew Jackie as a happy child who was very kind to our son when we lived across the street from you in the 70's. We lose touch with friends and former neighbors across the years, but we have always remembered Jackie as one of the ourstanding children who touched our lives. May God comfort and sustain you during this difficult time.

Jack ~ you will be greatly missed in this crazy world. Thanks for all the laughs and good times that we had. You were a dear friend to so many people and could always bring out the best in anyone with your smile and comments which were usually true. The advice you gave and the ability to make some realize it was a quality only a few ever gain. Cheers my friend we will miss you!!!!!

Jack, You were 1 in a million. That perfect smile and laugh, always made those around you happy. Your self confidence and ability to do anything you wanted were examples I tried to learn from. I will remember meeting you in Cullowhee and becoming friends and all the memories after . Our lives took us in different directions but anytime we talked on the phone or met for dinner, all the years disappeared. I will always think of you as that 20 year old perfect Charlotte kid. Andy

Although I had not seen him in several years, Jackie and I were friends for many years back through junior high and high school. You could always count on him for a smile, a big laugh, and joking antics. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. May all of the great memories that he provided to each of us keep his wonderful memory alive. Jackie you will be missed.

God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "come to me."

You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best

And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.
