I met Mr Mcduffie back in aug of 06 at chicago ohare airport where i worked at Usairways...Just found his card with a picture of him and Dale Earnhardt that he signed for my great service..I just tried to search for him and found out of his recent passing..So sorry for your loss and RIP James!

Jim was a passionate, determined man who fought for his beliefs. For years, he played the role of concerned and watchful citizen, often bombarding the City Council with his ideas and positions. He later served on the City Council and in the State Senate. As a public servant, I locked horns with Jim on a number issues, while admiring his determination and zeal. Never bashful about speaking his mind, Jim left a considerable imprint on local government.

Jim was a very colorful, passionate and interesting man, bubbling with ideas. For many years he played the role of gadfly on the local political scene, poking at and prodding local elected officials, before being elected to the City Council and the State Senate, serving with distinction. Rest in Peace, Jim.
