Woke up this morning with a smile on my face because I had a dream about Nelson last night. I remember him well as a computer friend on the message board Ronstoppable.net, a Kim Possible fan forum that I helped run. Nelson, known there as Commander Argus, was a great fan of the show and he wrote several great Kim Possible based fanfics that thousands of fans enjoyed. I also remember his stories of Commander Jimmy Argus, the series HE created and ran with the greatest talent I have seen in years.
A funny story here: In conversation with Nels over the computer, I found out that his favorite car of all time was the 1963 Corvette, the one with the split rear window. Well, I found it hilarious that I just happened to have a large model of that very same car on my bookshelf. On his birthday, I sent it to him with the note "Well, Argus, now ya own one!"
Sandy, I remember him still to this day, several years after he was so suddenly taken from our lives, and will to MY dying day. I think that there is no better testament to him that he has friends that still love him years later.
I still miss him. I still shed a tear or two when his memory glides through my idle thoughts, And I wonder, had he lived a full life, just what he would have accomplished. We can only wonder and dream now...
I will NOT forget him, Sandy. I'm sure you won't either. *HUG*
I wish you peace and health and long happy life!

I've been struggling for weeks to think of what to say here, but I think others have pretty much covered my feelings for "Nelz". Fondest memory? His joke about the message program, ICQ:"It Can't Quite" My heart and prayers go out to Sandy (whom he clearly loved dearly) as well as the rest of his family and friends. A painful loss.
