It's taken me awhile to find the perfect words to write/say.... my brother Jeff was the kindest, honest, hard-working, respectable, couragous, giving person anyone would ever be blessed and honored to know, I fortunatly got to know so many sides of Jeff. His birthday is coming up, he would have turned 40 yrs. old. So many things I was going to tell him about turning 40 and that life just begins at that age.....it's when your realize your all grown-up and 1/2 your life is behind you and you ahve a whole other1/2 to live for...well I didn't get to tell him this. I miss Jeff everyday, he will be in my heart forever and I know someday we will see each other again and my brother will give me a great big hug and wrap his arms around me and make me feel so loved. Love you so much Jeffrey Scottie Lewis... your sister Michelle aka Mimi

I became friends with Jeff in 1987 when my family moved to Arizona. Jeff was one of the greatest guys I have ever met. He was good friend and will be missed tremendously. He has impacted so many people throughout his short life. May he rest in peace and I hope only the best for his entire family. I'm gonna miss ya J LEW!

Words can't say how I am feeling about the loss of Jeff. I met Jeff 25 years. Jeff was a friend of my son Jason and they went to Horizon H.S. together. They played Basketball for 4 years at Horizon and stayed friends since. Jeff always had a smile on his face and was always there for everyone. My last memory of Jeff will stay with me forever, I saw him right before he left for Kentucky and he gave me the biggest hug and called me Mom which most of the boys on the basketball team did, I will keep that in my heart forever. Jeff you will be missed but not forgotten My prayers are with your Mom, Sister and brother may God be with them. RIP Jeff.

I was a friend of Jeff's in Louisville. My heart is truly hurting because of this loss. He was a gentle man who cared for people, especially his student-athletes. I pray that he is now at peace.
