Jeff was funny! He had a lightening quick, acidic wit that was both irreverent and bubbly. Both sarcastic and funny, he did not suffer fools gladly. He would speak his mind to his friends quickly and completely, rarely mincing words.
Jeff was an intensely personal person, hiding so much more than he ever showed. He was never quiet, but only completely forthcoming to his close friends. However, if you were lucky enough to be one of those close friends, you would come to cherish his personal side, and his personal side could change how you view the world.
Jeff was remarkable. Jeff was competitive in so many ways. Even his closest friends could feel his competition, though always with his friends the competitiveness was with his ever present smile. He succeeded in school and in life. He was always dressed impeccably. A picture was not just hung, it was hung straight, with lighting.
Jeff was my friend. One of my closest friends in law school, he soon became a friend to my wife and family. I will miss his laid back joy, his sarcasm, his quick wit, and his loyalty. He broadened my view of the world, and that world is less interesting without him.
I give my personal regards and respect to his family and all those who were significant in his life.
